Maybe inspired by HTC’s decision or maybe because of Google’s rule, Motorola makes a decision to start its bootloader unlocking program. The whole process of making things easier and more open looks pretty much the same the way HTC and Asus happen to have at their disposal. First of all – you will have to register and read a number of rules, warnings not to unlock your bootloader, and use the Android SDK and so on. Of course, this is the righteous thing to do because if something goes wrong – you won’t be able to make somebody else responsible for your actions. Unfortunately, not a single device is listed as unlockable just yet but we do hope that this process won’t take long and that rather sooner than later we are going to see a number of Motorola devices in the list of those that come with the unlocked bootloader. Stay tuned for updates.
